Hyderabad police have arrested two syndicate bank employees in Saroornagar for exchanging demonetised notes worth Rs 6 lakh without identification proof.
On the complaint of bank manager of Kamala nagar branch , police booked case on the employee’s. V. Mallesh, a clerk, handed over demonetized notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 to cashier Radhika and collected equal amount in new currency notes of Rs 2,000.
After complaint Mahesh brought back 5.6 Lakhs spending the rest. While the maximum exchange limit is Rs 4,000 demonetized notes by submitting Aadhaar card or other identification proof.
