Gogulapati Krishna Mohan, a resident of Ranga Reddy district filed a PIL in the high court against the film to stop the screening of the film alleging that the film has Lord Shiva’s recital ‘Namakam Chamakam’ in the song ‘Gudilo Badilo Madilo Vodilo’ which is penned by Sahithi.

He mentioned Regional censor board officer, the production house Venkateswara Creations and the DGP and others as Respondents in his PIL.

He stated that despite several appeals to the officials to see that the words are been removed, no action was taken and that’s the reason he has knocked the door of the court. He urged the court to stop the screening of the film till the objectional words from the romantic song are removed.
