Although Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh and Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam tasted same result at Boxoffice , due to whooping price of their film rights, Pawan has got away from returning his remuneration .
Sardar Gabbar Singh has done theatrical business around 83 crore and the movie has collected around 52+ crore , the incurred losses were around 30+ crore, in which Overseas distributor and Nizam distributor have suffered losses around 10 crore each . While other distributors have suffered losses less than 30%.
Generally, If losses are more than 20%, distributors request to compensate , In SGS case , Since SGS was not a complete disaster and Pawan Kalyan himself assured everyone that he would compensate the distributors with his next film. While the Nizam distributor Indra films got assurance from EROS over compensation. Thus , Pawan had nothing to pay back from his pocket .
