Couple of days ago, there were reports on Power Star Pawan Kalyan is going to act in the remake of Bollywood recent blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger which collected Rs. 150 crores so far. As per the latest reliable sources, Pawan has dropped the idea of going for remake of this film as the narration goes much slow in the second half of Ek Tha Tiger with weak story and entertainment. It is heard that, a close friend (could be Prakash Raj) of Pawan Kalyan who is doing an important role in Salman’s current project Dabangg 2 advised him to acquire the remake rights of this film as it has all stuff needed for a super hit.
Dabangg 2 is the sequel to Salman’s blockbuster Dabangg and this first version was remade in Telugu as Gabbar Singh which also scored a blockbuster in Telugu. The same team of GS is going to work for the sequel also if Pawan finalized Dabangg 2 as his next remake subject. Harish Shankar will direct the movie while Ganesh Babu will produce it on Parameswara arts banner and Devi Sri Prasad is going to render the songs. Official announcement on this is awaited.
