Panic and frustration clouds YSR loyalist Ministers

A sense of panic and fright prevails among the Ministers after the arrest and resignation of their colleague Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao as they fear over whose turn it will be next to come under CBI scanner.

The philosophic and sombre mood of the ministers is reflected in the conversation with some of the five Ministers who have been served notices by the Supreme Court over the 26 controversial Government Orders facilitating quid pro quo investments in the companies owned by Kadapa MP Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy. Certain that their and moreore arrests may be round the corner, they are worried whom the CBI may pick up first.

Some of these Ministers — Sabitha Indra reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, J. Geetha Reddy, Dharmana Prasada Rao and Kanna Lakshminarayana — are nursing a sense of betrayal as they have landed in trouble after signing on the dotted line  reposing blind faith in late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

“It hurts to see the YSR Congress Party spokespersons demanding the arrest of Ministers for issuing controversial GOs. while their leader amassed wealth using  at  our  cost  and  now  we  are branded as ‘tainted,” a State Minister said.
