Painful to leave BJP party : Venkaiah Naidu

rp_venkaiah-273x300-1.jpgSenior BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu addressed the media after filing his nomination for the post of Vice President.

Naidu said, “India’s strength lies in the parliamentary democratic system. if elected, I will uphold the dignity of the office of the Vice President.”

He said, “At the young age my mother died, My party brought me up. It is painful to leave the party. The country has a great leadership under Narendra Modi. I wanted to see him comeback in 2019 and thought then I will call it off and go for social service. But destiny decided otherwise. I have agreed with the party’s decision. I am not above the party.”.

Taking about his new responsibility as chairman of Rajya Sabha he said, “Neither I am in Left, nor right. I am at the center.”
