Nagarjuna has proved his mettle attempting a devotee role once again despite acting similar kind of role in his previous films like Annamayya and Ramadasu. These kind of devotee roles have become a tailormade roles for him and he once again done full justice to Hathiram Babu’s role in this film. Saurabhjain was perfect match for Lord Venkateswara Swami, his height, his pleasant face and appearance was marvelous. Anushka role as Krishnamma was a key role for the film. Her appearance brought sanity to her role . Nagarjuna has lived up in his role , his performance during the climax, takes to a new level. Pragya Jaiswal and Jagapati Babu were good. Rao Ramesh, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore have generated some comedy.
Technically, the film is Very good. S.Gopal Reddy’s cinematography makes the audience spellbound. Especially, when showcasing the Seshadri mountain. Keeravani’s music is the life of the film. All songs were melodious and the BGM has elevated the scenes.
Director Raghavendra Rao has once again demonstrated his magic. His commercial mark is visible in a devotional film with fruits, diyas and flowers. He choose this film to enlighten those who doesn’t know the history of the Temple and also to show the Sevas that are performed for the Swamy.

The first half deals with tell of importance of Venkatachalam and the story of Hathiram & Krishnamma. How Hathiram stops exploitation of devotees in Tirumala to safeguard sanity of Tirumala?. THe first half ends when the Lord comes to Hathiram and plays chess with him.
In the second half the film tells the importance of Nitya Kalyanam, Navaneetha seva and Sesha Vastram. During pre climax Hathiram face allegations of theft in connection with GOD’s jewelry. What is the test conducted by the KIng on Hathiram?. How will Hathiram come of the blame with the help of GOD ?. Although it’s a devotional film, but the film educates in many things in an entertaining way. Overall Om Namo Venkatesaya is a devotional entertainer.
