North Korea’s foreign minister Ri Yong-ho said on Monday that U.S. President Donald Trump had declared war on North Korea and that Pyongyang reserves the right to take countermeasures, including shooting down U.S. strategic bombers.
Talking to reporters in New York Ri said, The entire world should clearly remember it was the U.S. who first declared war on North Korea. we will have every right to take countermeasures, including shooting down the U.S. strategic bombers.
He said Pentagon had flown bombers escorted by fighter jets over waters east of North Korea.
The US President Donald Trump imposed a travel ban on North Korea after it has conducted its sixth most powerful nuclear test on September 3.
