No relief for Jagan

The Principal Special CBI Court at Nampally today extended the judicial remand of YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy till April 8 in the disproportionate assets case registered against him.

Judge U Durga Prasada Rao passed the order after holding the proceedings through video-conference from Chanchalguda Central Jail where he was lodged.

The Judge also extended the judicial remand till April 8 of Vanpic developer Nimmagadda Prasad and Bureaurcat K V Brahamananda Reddy who were also cited as alleged accused in the assets case.

Mr Durga Prasada Rao also extended the remand till April 15 of Former Karnataka BJP Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and his personal assistant K Mehfuz Ali Khan after conducting proceedings through video conference from Bangalore where Mr Reddy was lodged in another case related to illegal mining.

The court also extended the judicial remand through video conference of Jagan’s assets case accused and former Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao and Emaar accused N Sunil Reddy till April 8.
