Nithiin’s family takes a Huge risk

nithiinAccording to trade talk, Young hero Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy took a huge risk by bagging the rights of director Shankar’s 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson.

Sudhakar Reddy’s owns Leading distribution house, Global Cinemas has bagged the rights of the film for a whopping 90 crore deal for the theatrical rights in Telugu states alone, including 81 crores as rights and additional 9 crores will be paid as GST.

Since none of the Rajinikanth film’s has crossed even 50 crores share in Telugu states, Buying at this price where the recovery is more than the double revenues of the actor’s blockbuster hit, might prove risky for the buyer.

Even Rajinikanth’s previous films Lingaa and Kabali have ended as flops in Telugu states, Kabli was sold for around 32 crores , but still, it could not manage to get Hit status. At this point investing 90 crores on Rajini.
