Nandyal by-elections turns costliest

rp_Nandyal_elections-1-300x200.jpgThe Nandyal by-elections that will take place on Wednesday has turned out to be one of the costliest elections in recent times.

Both the parties including the ruling TDP and YSRCP to pump in maximum amount of money to buy votes. As of now 50 lakhs has been seized by the officials. On Friday 22 Lakhs has been seized from TDP and YSRCP leaders.

The election campaign has reached to the peaks as the Nandyal roads are full of car including the costliest cars like Benz, BMW, Volvo, Audi on the streets. Even Hotels and lodges in the constituency are fully booked.

After bifurcation of the state, this is the most costliest bye-elections in Andhra Pradesh. Hotels which always were running out of customers are serving food to 300 people.

The election officials have identified 141 centers are problematic and special surveillance is kept on 215 booths.
