Naidu shocks with pleasing gesture with Modi at Niti Aayog

modi-naiduAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who has been vocal in his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shocked with his pleasing gesture by his shaking hands with the PM as nothing happened between them.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met PM Narendra Modi on Sunday at Niti Aayog meeting. Both the leaders smiled and shook hands together. Shortly afterwards, both had a separate meeting with each other. Babu who is fighting against the centre’s injustice to the state of AP has failed to project the intensity of the problems faced by the state in the meeting.

Naidu reiterated the bifurcation-related Special Category Status, Polavaram project, revenue deficit, etc., Naidu also called Financial Resolution and Deposit Insurance ( FRDI) Bill as ill-drafted. He mentioned about ‘cash crunch’ in the meeting.

Naidu said the economic growth of nation needs to be 8% & major states like Andhra should grow at 10-12 %. He says that Andhra has been growing at 10.5% during last 4 years.

The chief minister held extensive discussions with the state ministers, top bureaucrats and MPs on the issues to be raised during the 4th Governing Council meeting of the NITI Aayog and slammed Modi at every meeting in AP for last few weeks, showed no intensity at the meeting

While Delhi CM Kejriwal who was fasting could gather the support of the four Chief Ministers, but Chandrababu did not gather the support of other CMs on AP issues. Only Bihar CM Nitish Kumar mentioned about special status to AP.
