Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in his speech at Amaravati foundation laying ceremony pleaded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a helping hand to AP till it reached a level-playing field with neighboring states.
He said, AP does not have any income generating city and the Centre should help the state until it reached a level playing stage. He said that till now the Centre had extended 1830 crore for the construction of capital city and it established 11 national institutions .
He said, the state has been bifurcated without showing a capital and there are many problems to be addressed in bifurcation process. He hoped that Telangana Chief minister KCR would extend all cooperation in post bifurcation issues to resolve them in an amicable way.
He said the Amaravati city has great history and its a people city , the people of the state put the onus of constructing a world class capital city for the state on him. He would definitely fulfill their desire .
He thanked the Prime Minister for extending help to the state for last one and half years and expects the same cooperation from the center. He also thanked the singapore and Japan delegates for their support. He said Amaravati is a Vastu complied city and the place is strengthened with the sprinkled soil and water brought from all villages and holy places. He said the state has been rated as No:2 in Business of Ease and his goal is to make the state as No:1 in next few years . He wanted Amaravati to become the World class city by a decade.
