Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of King’s College Hospital in Amaravati today. This world class medical facility will have a provision of 1000 beds.
The health medi-city will be constructed in 150 acres of the Errapalem village, Mangalagiri Mandal in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh with an estimated cost of Rs. 1000 crore by Indo U.K. Institute of Health.
As part of the first phase, They will construct a 1000-bed hospital, nursing school, paramedics training centre on 50 acres.
Speaking on this occasion Naidu said, “We’re enhancing the health & happiness of our people. The arrival of UK’s leading hospital in Amaravati is a boost for health tourism in AP.Amaravati, the new capital of the state, would become a hub for medical tourism.”.
