Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the state delegation went to Zurich, Switzerland to start the six-day long visit to Zurich and Davos.
Naidu held bilateral meetings with CEOs of various companies in Switzerland and invited them to invest in the Capital Amaravathi.
Naidu Visited the manufacturing plant of Stadler Rail Management AG in Bussnang last evening. Stadler Rail Management AG has evinced interest in setting up a unit in Visakhapatnam. This is expected to provide 3,000 jobs. He invited BKW Energie to collaborate with the government to offer new hydel power technologies for the Polavaram project. He also welcomed proposals from Gherzi Corporation which specializes in blood plasma fractionation. They’re keen on helping us in healthcare.
FinTech firm Mobino to support AP in digital transactions
– Mr. J Groff, CEO of Mobino Switzerland met the Chief Minister and gave a presentation on the banking services that they provide. Mobino is one of the pioneers of FinTech innovation in Switzerland. Mr. J Groff informed the Chief Minister that he wants to work with India, and Andhra Pradesh, in particular to accelerate the digitisation of money transactions. The Chief Minister asked the secretaries to be in touch with Mr. Groff and get ideas on digitization.
