Akkineni Nagarjuna has launched a film school with international standards in Hyderabad. International School of Films + Media (ISFM) will provide film courses on various levels in crash, short term and full term. This film school will provide courses on the twenty four crafts of film making. Admissions will open from tomorrow and the classes will start commencing from September.
Nagarjuna said that this has been the dream of his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao and he is happy to fulfill it. He also stated that this school is not intended to make profits. He added, We can always see it in Tollywood that creative individuals have no technical brains and technicians are not so creative while directing movies. Though there are some exceptions like Krishnavamsi and Rajamouli, two persons are not enough for 120 films that are coming out from Tollywood factory every year.Nimmagadda foundation has handed over 1 crore rupees as the corpus fund to provide scholarships.
