Movie ratings: Naayak already lost to SVSC?

Prince Mahesh Babu’s ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and Mega Power star Ramchran’s ‘Naayak’ are waging Horns of war at box office this Sankarnthi . Naayak on 9th and SVSC on 11th are sharing same weekend at overseas. ‘Naayak’ releasing in 102 theaters & ‘SVSC’ releasing in 109 theaters in USA.

According to trade analysts , Naayak seems to have already lost to SVSC before entering into battle ground. The reason is SVSC and Naayak booking had already started in USA and according to the trends SVSC seems to be the first choice for this weekend even with $20 for adult and $12 for kids , whereas despite of low ticket price comparatively $18 for adults and $8 for kid (ruled out as movie is ‘A’) still the advance booking for this movie is not at all on full swing.

At this rate, SVSC is undoubtedly on upper hand as Mahesh always proved that he is ‘ Baadshah Of Overseas’  and trade analysts predict that SVSC will gross around $1-1.2 M for its first weekend , if SVSC reports are positive it might cross $2M mark also by 2ned weekend to create new record and ‘Naayak’ will manage to settle down with $500k for its first weekend. It would be a great relief for Naayak if it can cross the $1 M mark.

Sources say, Overseas exhibitors are supplied with professional critics ratings for both movies , Naayak was rated between 3-3.25 /5 and SVSC was rated between 3.25-3.75 /5 .

While at domestic box office also , Naayak’s success range will completely depends on SVSC output.  Ramacharn’s ‘Rachcha’ fa-ired well at box office just because there was no competition for 3 weeks , but now SVSC is releasing with just 2 days gap.  If SVSC turns to be a average treat, then Naayak will have to settle at 35-38 Cr share with the present information about the film. If SVSC turns super hit , shares might even be low than predicted for Naayak.
