Musi River flows with flood after 110 years

musi-riverNormal life remains disrupted in Hyderabad as heavy rainfall triggers waterlogging in several areas.

The Musi river which is popular known as Nala (drain) has started flowing like a river at Moosarambagh Bridge, Hyderabad. In September 1908, 110 years ago the river was flooded due to torrential rains. The Musi River shrunk in 15 years with encroachments and new layouts surround the river flow. Nature is itself correcting the 60 year destruction.
