Modi inaugurates Mission Bhageeratha in Telangana

modi-mission-bagiradhaPrime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated a series of programmes, including a massive 40,000-crore Telangana state water grid ‘Mission Bhageeratha’, during his maiden visit to Telangana on Sunday.

PM Modi was welcomed by Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao at Begumpet Airport this afternoon along with Hon’ble Governor Sri ESL Narasimhan, Council Chairman Sri Swamy Goud, Cabinet Ministers from State.

Later PM arrived at Gajwel, Medak Dist to inaugurate, lay foundation stones to several development projects. He inaugurated ‘Mission Bhageeratha’, meant to provide drinking water to 66k families. After the Mission Bhagiratha Pylon inauguration, CM KCR and PM on a tour of Photo Exhibition on the Project.

Later PM laid foundation stone for Manoharabad – Kothapalli Railway Line . PM dedicated to the nation Singareni 1200 MW Jaipur plant. He also laid Foundation stone for NTPC’s 2X800 MW Super Thermal Plant and for revival of FCIL Plant at Ramagundam. PM has also laid foundation stone to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal from Gajwel .

CM KCR felicitated Narendra modi and Union Ministers VenkaiahNaidu, AnanthKumar, Piyush Goyal,suresh prabhu and Dattatreya.
