Prime Minister Narendra Modi hits out at the opposition former PM Indira Gandhi and Manmohan Singh at the BJP Parliamentary Party over Demonetization.
He leveled charges against two former PMs Manmohan Singh and Indira Gandhi, of ignoring basic steps to fight corruption.
He said, Singh stressed the need to erase black money and check corruption but did nothing during his 10 years. While Indira Gandhi rejected suggestions for demonetization in 1971 saying she wanted to win elections.
He further said, Demonetisation of Rs 500/1000 notes is the first step to curb black money and corruption and not the last one.
