Modi Cabinet Reshuffle : 9 New Faces

9-new-faces-modi-cabinetPrime minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet is going for a reshuffle on Sunday, As many as 9 new faces are taking Oath at 10.30 am at Rashtrapati Bhavan

Six ministers including Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Sanjeev Balyan, Faggan Singh Kulaste, Kalraj Mishra, Mahendra Nath Pandey and Bandaru Dattatreya have resigned to make way for the new faces.

New Ministers to take oath include -Ashwini Kumar Choubey (BJP- Bihar),Shiv Pratap Shukla (BJP- UP),Virendra Kumar (BJP- MP),Anantkumar Hegde (BJP- Karnataka),Raj Kumar Singh (Maharastra), Hardeep Singh Puri, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat (BJP- Rajasthan), Satya Pal Singh (Maharastra) and Alphons Kannanthanam (Maharastra)

Two allies the Shiv Sena and the Telugu Desam Party to get a 1 each berth, JDU to get two berths. Independent charge ministers Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Power Minister Piyush Goyal and Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to be promoted to Union cabinet.

New ministers for Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, and Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti.
