Some ministers from the ruling party will be sent behind bars prior to the arrest of YSR Congress chief to give a feel that the Congress party is not targeting Jagan alone. Ministers who got notices from Supreme Court regarding those faulty GOs got fair chances to go behind bars.
Arrested industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad has revealed some crucial information regarding Minister Mopidevi’s involvement as the then minister for Investments and Infrastructure in VANPIC dealings, say reports. This in turns is giving rise to speculations that Mopidevi will be taken into custody soon. Another minister Dharmana Prasadarao handled revenue portfolio in YSR cabinet before playing a key role to allot special status to VANPIC for evadingstamp duty. Likewise, Sabitha Indrareddy’s role as a Mines Minister to award certain deals to India Cements, Dalmiya Cements and Penna Group are under CBI scanner.
Reports indicate that CM Kiran got green signal for high-command to sack those ministers involved with YSR and YS Jagan’s fraudulent activities right before their arrest. In fact, this gives a feeling that Congress will not spare anyone including its own people before taking action against corrupted leaders like Jagan.
