Minister refutes charge of purchasing land illegally

Andhra Pradesh Secondary Education Minister K Parthasarathi today denied allegations that he had purchased four acres of precious land at the outskirts illegally. Addressing a press conference here, he claimed that he had purchased the land legally and got it registered in his son’s name. He also claimed that he purchased the land by paying full money to the land owners and got it registered through second additional junior judge in his son K Nithin Krishna’s name. He made it clear that before the registration, he inquired in the court whether the land was in litigation and after the court cleared that there was no dispute on the ownership of the land, he got it registered. The Minister said he would resign his post and quit politics, if it was proved that he had purchased the land through illegal means. He lamented that his son who was studying in Tamil Nadu and away to politics, was badly depicted as land grabber by a section of media and asked journalists to write the facts after getting it confirmed.
