A major set back to BJP a year ahead for general elections, One year ago, the BJP swept Uttar Pradesh, Today, it is on the verge of losing Gorakhpur and Phulpur – the seats of the Chief Minister and Deputy CM, when both the central and state government is under their control.
BJP heading for massive defeat in CM Yogi’s Gorakhpur and in Dy CM Keshav Maurya’s Phulpur constituencies after SP/BSP tie up. BJP held Gorakhpur for 28 years and 7 parliament elections. Obviously, it’s disappointing to see a loss at the CM’s own constituency.
In Gorakhpur ByPoll: SP’s Praveen Kumar Nishad leads by 25,870 votes with 3,34.463 votes, BJP’s Upendra Dutt Shukla second with 3,08.593 votes after 22nd round of counting.
