In a major blow to Pakistan, Germany has extended its support to India in its fight against terrorism .
German Ambassador to India Dr. Martin Ney , As per International law, Any country has the right to defend its territory from terrorism. In the counter-terrorism, Germany will stand side by side with its strategic partner India.
The International norms are
1.Every state under legal occupation should ensure that no terrorism is emanating from its territory
2.Any state has the right to defend its territory from internal terrorism.
Meanwhile, Sri Lankan PM Ranil Wickremesinghe met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and supported India.
He said, Cross-border terrorism is a big issue(in SAARC) and Both the countries have to discuss how to tackle it. He Doesn’t think war (India-Pak) is an option, PM Modi has taken a lot of steps to defuse tensions.
