Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu who has adopted Burripalem, his ancestral village near , under the ‘Smart Village – Smart Ward’ program launched by the Andhra Pradesh government, is not leaving any occasion to serve the people of his Home village.
Mahesh is spending over Rs 2.14 crore for the construction of an Anganwadi building, a community hall, additional classrooms in the local school, laying of water pipelines, development of roads and drains in the village.
On the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Mahesh Babu in association with Vijayawada-based Andhra Hospitals organized a medical camp in Burripalem. Hundreds of people turned out there to utilize the facility. Free medicians were distributed for the patients.
Mahesh Babu took his Facebook to post “On the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. An endearing effort once again by Dr Rama Rao Paturi and team of Andhra Hospital with the health camp at Burripalem 👍👍 A big thank you :)”. (sic)
