Mahesh Babu connects with Chintalkunta village

mahesh-ChintalkuntaMahesh Babu, who had earlier announced to adopt Burripalem village, his father’s birth place, in Andhra Pradesh, has reportedly adopted a village in in the Mahbubnagar District of Telangana.

In response to a suggestion made by Telangana IT Minister, K.T. Rama Rao , Mahesh Babu has adopted Chintalkunta Village in Mahabubnagar District. Chintalkunta is a remote village came to limelight with adoption announcement. But why Mahesh Bbau has chosen this village? .

Chintalkunta village has no drinking water facility even the one existing well in the village has drained,the population of the village is 2500. People are habited of drinking bore water which is used for cultivation. In summer season people will have to walk 3 km to get one pot of drinking water.

Even the health facilities are not good in this village , It has no hospital, it is 70 km away from Kurnool headquarters, 40 km from Gadwal and 30 km from Karnataka border. It has No proper roads and the time taken for an ambulance to reach the village is nearly  one and half hour.

People are very happy hearing the news that Mahesh Babu has adopted the village, they thanked the super star and hope revolutionary changes in the village in coming days. Mahesh Babu will be touring this village on 29th August.
