Nestle India chairman and managing director Suresh Narayanan has announced the re-launch of Maggie.
On June 5, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) had ordered a pan-India ban on Maggie. After 5 months battle, undergoing various test across the world, Maggie was certified as safe product.
Nestle has lost Rs.495 crore due to ban, 320 cr worth maggie was incinerated as fuel to cement factories.
Maggie was also in 40 lakhs outlets across the country in 500 cities and towns. .
Magie will be also available online as the company tied up with Snapdeal.
