Madrugada Padayatra : High tension in East Godavari

AP Director General of Police N Sambasiva Rao stated that there is no permission for Mudradaga’s padayatra starting at  Kirlampudi in East Godavari district from  26th July to Capital city Amaravathi demanding reservations for Kapu community.

He said, section 144 is imposed, anybody involved in disruption of law will not be tolerated.He appealed Kapu Youth, not to part of padayatra and follow the law and order. He said not to pay attention to the padayatra.

DGP said, police refused permission for it keeping in view the violent incidents, He cited the Supreme Court guidelines, which said that permission should be given for organizing a program after verifying the past history. He reminded that Rs 60 to Rs.70 crore worth property was destroyed by a furious mob who set on fire an express train, police station and several vehicles at Tuni.
