He met Acting Ambassador of India in the US, Sri Taranjit Singh Sandhu and also had a meeting with Ms. Katherine B Hadda, newly appointed Consul General of US in Hyderabad.
Mr. Bertrand-Marc Allen, President, Boeing International called on Minister Sri KT Rama Rao in Washington DC. KTR discussed the present status of Boeing’s engagement in the Aerospace city in Hyderabad and possibilities in skills up-gradation and training.
KTR has met a high-level team of officials from the US Environmental Protection Agency, discussed with the team, the vision and approach of State Govt to curb industrial pollution with a best-in-class enabling framework.
KTR has interacted with representatives of PhRMA, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. US’s leading biopharmaceutical research group was represented by members of Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Alexion, Merck, Amgen, among others.
KTR met AES Corporation delegation; discussed possibilities for investments in State in the solar power sector. A team of Cleveland Motorcycle Works led by its CEO Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Sandeep Butala also met the minister.
Ram Reddy, Chairman, CommuniClique Inc., Director, Global Entrepreneurship Program in US Govt, Mr. Tom met KTR and discussed the possibility of hosting GE Summit 2017 in Hyderabad.
