K.T. Rama Rao, Minister for MA&UD , launched the Medical Devices Park at Sultanpur, Sanga Reddy.
KTR said He is happy and delighted to launch India’s first exclusive Medical Devices Park in Telangana. Indian youngsters should no longer be referred to as Workforce. They are our Think force. 14 MedTech firms are being given allotment letters at Medical Devices Park today.
These firms will provide direct employment to 4000 people and indirect employment to 8000 people. The govt will ensure locals are provided a due share in employment at Medical Devices Park, said KTR.
KTR said, Telangana has identified Medical Devices as a Strategic Sector for the State’s growth and has one of the best healthcare infrastructures in the country.
Telangana is also the hub for medical tourism.Medical Devices Park brings together a holistic ecosystem for setting up research as well as manufacturing units. Along with Pharma city and Genome Valley, Medical Devices Park creates an ideal eco-system for any Medical Devices company, said KTR.
