Krish’s Manikarnika in controversy

Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut is playing the lead role in this movie. It is based on the life of Veera Nari Jhansi Lakshmibai, the film is penned by “Baahubali” writer Vijayendra Prasad. The film will be released in Hindi and Southern languages. Rajasthan Brahman Mahasabha (RBM) alleging that the filmmakers are distorting history by showing love affinity between Lakshmibai and the British.

‘Manikarnika’ was filmed in some places in Rajasthan. The film is based on the book written by the foreigners trying to hurt the image of the queen. This was reported by our friends residing in the areas where the shooting took place. Maharani Jhansi Lakshmibai was a teenager and fought against the British for the country,”SBM President Suresh Mishra said. He demanded the state government take the affidavit from the producers.

Mishra said that he had previously sent a letter to the film crew. Cinema writers and asked the details of the song. There is no reaction from film unit which was disappointing. The film team has to respond to this dispute.
