Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao held District Collectors meeting at Pragathi Bhavan and stressed to implement the government programmes effectively.
During today’s Collectors’ meeting, CM reiterated that Districts reorganization should result in better implementation of government programmes. CM appreciated the district collectors for providing able leadership at the district level.
CM instructed district collectors to collect details about the living standards of all families, and deliver programs to alleviate poverty. CM stressed the importance of sheep rearing and fisheries for all-round development of Telangana.
CM sanctioned Rs 5 Crore contingency fund that would be kept with districts Collectors. To be used to solve the issues, problems brought to their notice by citizens
He said, Construction of new District Administrative offices, Police offices should be completed within a year.
He also stated that State government to take up appointments on compassionate grounds in ten days. CM instructed officials to take stringent measures to stop production and sale of illicit liquor.
