KCR smartly skips Kumaraswamy swearing-in ceremony

kcrTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao left for Bengaluru on Tuesday evening to congratulate Karnataka Chief Minister designate H K Kumaraswamy, who will be sworn-in on Wednesday.

KCR said that he would not be attending the swearing-in ceremony as he will have to attend Collector’s conference in Hyderabad tomorrow so he had come to meet him & extend his wishes today.

Kumaraswamy will be sworn in as the Chief Minister by Governor Vajubhai Vala in front of the state secretariat in Bengaluru in the presence of several national leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and about a lakh other people.

Since Congress is supporting the JDS to form the govt in which Congress would also be the part, while KCR’s main rival in Telangana is Congress, KCR smartly skips the swearing-in ceremony.
