On the third state formation day, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has sanctioned Rs. 10 lakh financial assistance to Pidamarthi Nagaraju, who made a desperate attempt to commit suicide during Telangana agitation.
Nagaraju, a resident of Rayanigudem village in Garidepally Mandal in Nalgonda district, made an attempt to commit suicide by coming under the train in Miraylaguda in 2011, he survived with severe injuries.
KCR sanctioned Rs. 10 lakh financial assistance to him, stated the Telangana CMO.
