KCR lays foundation stone for SRSP Revival & Restoration

kcr-srspTelangana Chief minister K.Chandrashekar Rao laid the foundation stone for Sriramsagar Project Revival & Restoration at Pochampad Village.

The massive restoration scheme is taken up by the govt at a cost of Rs.2000 cr, will ensure that Sriramsagar project and its canals will always be full and flowing with abundant water. The water of River pranahita will be diverted at Medigadda and pumped to Sriramsagar Project. The flood canals will be converted into reservoirs. Telangana will now flourish with abundant water fulfilling the dreams of the farmers in the state.

The other projected taken up by the state’s Mission Kakatiya program include Kaleshwaram Lift irrigation project, Palamuru Rangareddy Lift irrigation, Dindi Lift irrigation, Sitaram project, Pranahitha lift irrigation, Tupakula Gundem Barrage and Bhaktha Ramdas lift irrigation project.
