KCR govt to pass Muslim and ST reservation bills

In the ongoing Budget session, the two bills will be tabled . KCR would also lead a all party delegation to Delhi to seek the center to include the legislation in the Constitution’s 9th Schedule on the lines of Tamil Nadu.

KCR government committed to increase reservation quota to Muslims and STs to 12 per cent each, But the constitutional amendment was required to take total reservation in the state to over 50 per cent.
