TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been to New Delhi to hold discussions in merger of TRS into Congress on the condition of announcing Telangana statehood. Union Minister Vayalar Ravi said that Central Government has to consult other political parties before taking a final decision on bifurcation of state.
“We have been in negotiations with KCR. His offer to merge TRS with Congress is only one of the proposals discussed. No decision has been taken yet. This is not an easy process. We will also consult Telugu Desam Party before announcing a result. I have just now returned from Shanghai. I tried to contact KCR today but he seems to be missing in New Delhi and his mobile is not reachable. I think he left back to Hyderabad,” Vayalar Ravi told to media in New Delhi.
