KCR gives a relief to Tollywood celebrities in Drugs case

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has conducted a review meeting at Pragathi Bhavan with the Excise and Enforcement officials on drugs case which was attended by Excise DGP Akun Sabharwal and Commissioner Chandravadan.

KCR has clarified the officials that the Tollywood celebrities involved in this case are not criminals and they should be seen as Victims only. However supplying drugs and selling them is a severe crime which leads to punishments. KCR stated that his govt is working hard to clampdown the drugs mafia in Telangana and has asked officials to conduct the probe into recent narcotics scandal with utmost transparency and dedication.

Meanwhile, the excise officials have submitted investigation report to the CM including the inquiry related to Tollywood celebrities.
