KCR appeals students not to go panic over Exams postponement

kcr-11Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao took strong exception to Private College Managements spreading misinformation about State Govt plans to strengthen education system.

He reiterated that Govt will weed out mushrooming bogus colleges and found fault with college managements opposing such move.He deplored the decision of college managements to boycott  Teachers Eligibility Test – TET and EAMCET exams that dilutes educational standards in the State.He said that colleges are spreading rumours about inspections and reaffirmed that Vigilance Dept will only conduct them.

In the backdrop of strike, Govt has decided to postpone TET and EAMCET exams to be conducted on May 1 and 2 respectively. CM instructed Dy CM and Education Minister Sri K Srihari to complete exams before May 20 by involving Govt institutes, teachers and staff.

He Appealed the students and parents not to get panicky; State Govt will do everything possible to improve the educational standards in State, said CM.
