Kashmir teen launches Kashbook website after SM ban

kashbook1After PDP led Jammu & Kashmir state government has imposed ban on social media, includes Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, QQ, WeChat, Ozone, Tumblr, Google+, Baidu, Skype, Viber, Line, Snapchat, Pinterest, Telegram and Reditt, A 16-year old launched a social networking website and launched it within a week following social media (SM) ban on May 2nd, 2017.

Zeyan Shafiq, a 16-year-old boy from Anantnag district of Kashmir completed his 10th standard exams, came up with “Kashbook” giving Kashmir touch. The 16-year-old along with his 19-year-old friend Uzair Jan has also developed a mobile optimized website as well as an android app.

He also posted some rules for using the Kashbook, A team monitors the content posted on the site and if found to be anti-national, it will be removed and the user will be given a warning. the site is it works without a VPN and people can easily access it.
