Karnataka HC judge dies in road mishap in Andhra Pradesh

Karnataka High Court Judge Govindarajulu died and three of his family members sustained injuries in a road mishap reported from Ananthapura district in Andhra Pradesh on May 19, Saturday.

The accident took place when the car in which   Govindarajulu, his wife and two other family members were travelling overturned after the driver lost control over the vehicle near Odulapalli village in Talupala police station limits at around 11.30 am. The family of the judge was on way to Bangalore from Prodattur in Kadapa district.

Though all the injured were immediately shifted to the Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences at Kadapa, Govindarajulu breathed his last by then.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy tonight expressed shock and anguish over the death of Karnataka High Court Judge Govinda Rajulu in a road accident this afternoon.
