Sources say, Despite of big hype for the film , which recently went for a grand audio launch at Amaravati , the distributors are reportedly not ready to shell out the committed amount to be paid for the rights.
Family dramas are more salable for sankranthi festival season and Dictator tends to be a typical Balakrishna typo action film. On the other hand Jr. NTR starrer ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and King Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ looks like more promising films for festival season. The hype for these films have increased in recent times after audio launches.
Meanwhile Dil Raju yet to bag the Nizam rights of the Dictator , the deal is still open as Raju offered just 4.5 cr for the rights. Producer of the film might release the film through Indra Films.
