Tamil Nadu late CM J. Jayalalithaa’s niece Deepa Jayakumar came out strongly against the elevation of AIADMK General Secretary V.K. Sasikala as Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister.
Deepa said, From day one she was asking hospital to allow her inside but the hospital denied & they never allowed her.
She said, The people of Tamil Nadu are not happy with Sasikala becoming the Chief Minister. To become a chief minister being with someone for 33 years is not a qualification. It’s very sad. People have not voted to Sasikala.
Speaking about herself She said, If she going to be a leader, she’ll definitely be democratically elected. she will be contesting elections and she think a democratically elected leader would be the best choice for the state.
