When the ruling TDP government was ready with a statement of Leader of the House, Chandrababu Naidu on Call Money racket and was also ready for a debate on it, The opposition alleged that the government was running away from debate on call money and did not allow them when a ‘point of order’ is raised.
Clarifying on Jagan’s half knowledge, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Affairs Minister Y. Ramakrishnudu quoted from the rulebook that, ‘Point of order’ can be raised between business items not between when a statement was being made by the leader of the house.
Quoting the rule book again ,Jagan alleged that After making statement, no discussion cannot be taken up .
The speaker of the house clarified that, Discussion can be taken up after making the statement within a day or following day and enlightened him that his party members has agreed for disussion after CM’s statement in business advisory meeting. Without knowing the facts , Jagan misleaded the house , alleged the speaker.
