YSR Congress chief, Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was questioned for more than seven hours in connection with the disproportionate assets case by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Hyderabad even as thousands of his supporters laid siege of the city forcing the police to clamp prohibitory orders in the Andhra Pradesh capital. He will be questioned again on Saturday from 10:30 AM.
Jagan, who went inside the CBI headquarters in Hyderabad a little before 11 AM, came out at around 6:20 PM, and addressed the media and his supporters. He said that some clarifications were sought by CBI, which he gave.
“I have been asked to come again tomorrow 10:30 AM to give further reply. I answered CBI whatever questions were put to me. I will give them further clarifications tomorrow,” said Jagan.
Jagan looked cheerful when he come out of the Dilkusha Guest House and he was at complete ease while speaking to the media persons. If the version of Jagan is to be believed, his experience during the questioning of CBI on Day 1 was cool and peaceful. Even though if it is the actual truth, Jagan can’t expect the same treatment from the CBI in coming days.
