Jagan took percentage in awarding Jalayagnam works
TDP leader and former minister V.Rambhupal Choudary condemned the former union minister of state A Sai Pratap for his defense of YSR Congress president Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy in amassing illegal wealth.
Speaking to media persons at district TDP office here on Monday, Rambhupal Choudary alleged that Jagan emerged as an anti-constitutional power and swallowed crores of rupees in the form of percentages to entrust works to contractors and businessmen when YS Rajasekhara Reddy was alive. He also charged Jagan of having links with five companies that were involved in construction of irrigation projects.
“Jagan took three percent bribe to award contracts worth thousands of crore rupees, four per cent for hundred crore rupee projects and 10 percentage for less than Rs 100 crore contracts. This is an open secret ,” Choudary alleged.
He alleged that there were numerous incidents about Jagan’s intervention to retract the contracts even after YSR entrusted them to others and he used to influence the officers without caring for YSR.
Speaking on the occasion, district TDP president Somishetty Venkateshwarlu said that Congress leaders are in a fix now with fast approaching by-elections in the state as they boasted of YSR as god and retainer of power for the party twice.
“Everybody knows both YSR and Jagan are corrupt and ministers also committed gross irregularities during the YSR regime’ he said,.
