YSRC leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s campaigning in Yemmiganur constituency continued for the third day on Monday. Surprisingly, he did not utter even a single word in the campaigning which started at11 a.m. and continued till 5 p.m. He just kept waving to the crowds and proceeded.
Intermittently, he prayed at churches and dargahs. Jagan started his campaigning from St John’s College on the outskirts of Yemmiganur where he made a night stay on Sunday. He went to Baba Fakruddin dargah in Kurnool road and offered prayers there.
Then he held a roadshow at Coolie Panja Maidan and then prayed at MB Church in SC Colony. Later, he held a roadshow at YSR Nagar.
He went to Mantralayam TDP rebel MLA Y Balanagi Reddy’s house and held discussions in closed doors with him and his brother Saiprasad Reddy, who is also a former MLA.
He participated in roadshows at Teru Bazar and Lakshmipet also. By 5 p.m., he wrapped his campaigning in Yemmiganur and proceeded to villages in the constituency.
Political analysts feel that Jagan has remained silent in the wake of summons issued to him by the CBI.
