General Secretary of All India Congress Committee and Member Rajya Sabha Digvijay Singh has made interesting comments on YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy’s meeting with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jagan gave a 6-page memorandum to the PM and listed out how Naidu unethically encouraged defections from the YSRC, even alleging that 20-odd MLAs were bought. He also made references of Agrigold scam and the Telangana cash-for-votes scam and mentioned about special status.
Digvijay took to twitter to post “Interesting development in AP. Is it a genuine complaint against TDP’s corruption or just an attempt to cosy up to BJP ? .Would Modi hand over the investigation of corruption charges against Chandra Babu to CBI/ED ?. Does Jagan expect any action ? If he does he would be disappointed ! Jagan has only given Modi and Amit Shah a weapon to blackmail Babu.” (sic).
