The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh ,YSR Congress President Jagan Mohan Reddy extends support to Kapu demand on reservations .
He accused Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of turning back on his promise and described the prevailing situation as ‘failure of the government’.
He demanded to follow the example of Tamil Nadu where the govt gave 69 per cent reservations in educational institutions and employment through a constitutional amendment.
Reacting to Naidu’s allegations that YSRCP’s involvement in Tuni violence , He said, Naidu has the habit to blame other for his own failures. He also requested agitators to maintain restraint. He advised Naidu to take a time bound program to resolve the issue.
